"Green Dreams, The Story of Remy and Adolph Andrade."

Remy & Adolph Andrade

The Unallome Garden

Remy and Adolph are all about slow living. Adolph's average response time on Whatsapp is 24 hours or not at all, so you know what we're saying. When we first walked into their home slash nursery, in the middle of a jungle, we fell in love. It had every type of tropical plant we thought we needed and some.

The couple's love for gardening started with a simple project: bringing life to their own garden space. But, as it turned out, keeping plants alive was not as easy as buying them from a nursery. Different plants needed different types of soil and organic matter. Even cow manure, which they initially thought was the only natural manure, didn't fly with all plants. Through trial, error, and a lot of patience, they figured out the little secrets of successful gardening and shared them with other plant enthusiasts. They made their own all-natural soil at home, which helped their plants grow better and helped them avoid overspending on nurseries.

The Unallome Garden Blog

All of this came to full bloom during the Covid lockdown and they fully immersed themselves in the beauty of gardening by growing their own fruits and veggies and being surrounded by fresh air, butterflies, and birds.

When we reached out to them and they first came for a visit, we had precious few plants in place and a very sad-looking lawn space. In a span of 2-3 months, this space was completely transformed into a stunning, tropical garden space that is one of our main highlights!

(Since Remy & Adolph are both slow livers, they don't have an Instagram page but we'd be happy to share their contact details with you if you need help with landscaping in Goa.)
