"Culinary Adventures: From Sochi to Goa."

Chef Ayrat Ziganshin.

The Unallome Table Ayrat

On April 26th, The Unallome Morjim hosted a community kitchen experience with Chef Ayrat Ziganshin from Sochi. The event provided a unique opportunity for guests to engage with the chef and learn from his culinary expertise.

Ayrat's menu was inspired by the local location, and it focused on incorporating more locally-sourced, everyday ingredients that could easily be found in markets or stores. With access to the freshest seafood and a plethora of exotic ingredients, he was able to create truly exceptional dishes that highlighted the best of what Goa had to offer.

Chef Ayrat stumbled upon a career in the kitchen when a friend called him in for work during a period of unemployment. That chance opportunity led to 13 years of experience in the culinary field, during which he specialized in sushi before realizing the need to broaden his horizons. Seeking out new experiences and knowledge, he worked at various restaurants, including the standout experience at Red Fox in Sochi, which belongs to the White Rabbit Family restaurant chain.

Having lived in Goa for over a year now, and having visited India three times, Ayrat has been captivated by the country since his first visit in 2017. His love for India has only grown, and this passion is evident in the menu he has designed, drawing inspiration from the location and his previous work experience to create a diverse array of dishes that showcase the region's unique and vibrant cuisine.
